I have a few posts in various stages of completion:
- A fist post collecting ideas and questions about Plato’s Timaeus. I imagine this would be the first of a few posts on this ‘dialogue’ (hardly an appropriate description for the text as a whole).
- A response to a few texts by or about Peter Thiel, particularly his suggestion in the relationship between ‘progress’ and the immanence of the apocalypse.
- A response to both Alvin Toffler’s 1965 article “The Future as a Way of Life” and the 1972 documentary based on Toffler’s “Future Shock.” This post and the one described above are certainly related, in that they both look at the perception of and believed social results of ‘progress.’
